The Eve Appeal in
partnership with Ovacome organised this meeting of high level representatives
including leading doctors, policy-makers, cancer charities and people affected
by ovarian cancer. The Ovarian Cancer UK Consensus Statement highlights what is
already known and for the first time in the UK agrees upon the symptoms of ovarian cancer. It also
reports on gaps in research and further action that should be taken to improve
knowledge and practice. Please be aware
the Consensus Statement includes statistical information on survival rates.
