CancerHelp UK provides information about cancer and its treatment from a British perspective in simple language and with extensive use of images.
It is aimed at people with cancer and their families. The website currently has extensive sections on 28 specific cancer types, also details information on chemotherapy, radiotherapy, clinical trials and other topics such as "Living with Cancer" and "Questions and Answers"

Look Good, Feel Better
The Look Good, Feel Better programme is a free cancer support service for women undergoing treatment for cancer. In partnership with 41 leading hospitals, the charity has developed a nationwide programme of beauty workshops offering hand-on make-up techniques to help combat the visible side effects of treatment.

ladies attending Look Good, Feel Better workshops are presented witha  gift of products and are taken through a 12 step skin care abd make-up regime by professional beauty advoisors. The two hour sessions are lots of fun and can be a real morale booster. For more details contact:
