Sponsored event
You can be sponsored for practically anything, simply choose a
challenge and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor
you. Ovacome has places for many of the major race events but if
running isn't your thing why not get sponsored to eat no chocolate
for a month....or colour your hair teal.... or give up
smoking....or ride a tandem across Britain!
Social event
You can sell tickets to a range of events such as coffee mornings,
parties, musical events, mufti days and variety shows - the only
limit is your imagination! Themed events are always fun - and why
not hold an raffle asking local business to donate items too?
Sale
Things like cake stalls, jumble sales and talent-selling events
(are you a good window cleaner or car washer?!) are always popular.
You can even sell
your unwanted items on Ebay and automatically donate a
percentage to Ovacome - see below for more details!

Pin Badges
Wearing an Ovacome pin badge is a great way to show your support
of women with ovarian cancer and the work of Ovacome. Ovacome's pin
badges show a teal ribbon with two sparkling pink dots and can be
bought singly for a suggested donation of £1 or supplied in bulk on
a sale or return basis for fundraising purposes.

Recycle for Ovacome
Recycling your old ink cartridges or mobile phone is a quick and
simple way to raise money for Ovacome. We receive around 50p for
each cartridge and £5 for each mobile phone you donate.
Just send your used cartridge or phone free of charge (making
sure to quote reference number 726235) to:

Ebay for Charity
Sell your unwanted items on eBay and raise money for
Ovacome!
eBay for Charity is a simple way for
buyers and sellers on eBay.co.uk to support their favourite
charities. Buyers can shop for items knowing they're supporting a
good cause, be it an everyday bargain or a special auction.
Sellers, whether they're individuals or businesses, can donate a
percentage from any sale to a charity of their choice and add Gift
Aid to their donations.
Sellers can choose to donate between 10% and 100% of your final
sale price and if you are a tax payer then Ovacome is also able to
collect Gift Aid on your donation. In addition, all eBay for
Charity items will qualify for a fee credit on basic insertion and
final value fees equal to the percentage donated.
