What do I need to do?

In order to take part in the Christmas Challenge you must make your donations to Ovacome via the Big Give website. Do not try to donate through our website, otherwise your donation will not be doubled.
The donation link below will go live at 12 noon on Tuesday 1 December until 12 noon Tuesday 8 December.

We are very excited to announce that Ovacome has once again been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s largest match funding campaign. Last year, thanks to generous supporters like you the campaign raised over £13 million for participating charities.

We will be raising money to grow our support and services for those affected by ovarian cancer. We will be working to expand our new base in the West Midlands, helping us to reach more people across the country. Our new local Support Hub Co-Ordinator will provide support for those diagnosed and their family. We will also raise awareness of the disease among marginalised groups.

Donations to this project will be matched for seven days from 12 noon on Tuesday 1 December, also known as Giving Tuesday. One donation, twice the impact.

In 2018 we reached our £5000 target in just two days! Last year we were able to raise £15,000 over the course of the campaign and this year we're aiming to reach £20,000, meaning that £40,000 total will go towards our ovarian cancer support services.

What happens during the Christmas Challenge?

Donations made to Ovacome by clicking on the button above will be doubled during the campaign. This means that for every pound that you give, Ovacome will receive £2. If you would like to support our work this year, we highly recommend doing so during the Christmas Challenge when your donation will be doubled and make even more of a difference to the lives of women with ovarian cancer.
