Join us for our first ever annual Teal Walk, taking place at Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham. You can choose to walk 2K, 5K or 10K. Entrance fee is £12 and you will receive an Ovacome t-shirt, medal and goody bag.

Every person taking part in the Teal Walk will be helping to ensure that no one has to experience ovarian cancer alone.

Ask friends and family to sponsor your walk; by setting yourself a fundraising target of £100, you could pay for 312 people to be educated about the signs and symptoms, and cover the cost of sending out specialist, personalised resources to 10 people who have recently been diagnosed.

If you can't make it on the day, why not join the virtual Teal Walk from wherever you are? Our Ovacome Teal Walk wristbands count your steps, as well as the distance that you've covered, meaning that you can take part in the Teal Walk anywhere you like.

What can I expect on the day?

The Teal Walk will start and finish at the band stand in Cannon Hill Park. There will be 3 routes to take. The 2K is all on a flat and paved area that goes around the lake. The 5K route will be over paved and a grassy area. The 10K route is twice round the 5K route. There will be no race to the finish line, just an incredible community of walkers who are ready to see a change. Find out more in our FAQs below.
