The Ovacome Choir is a social, relaxed singing group which provides an opportunity for anyone whose life has been affected by ovarian cancer to meet others with similar experiences, in a fun and supportive environment.

Our free choir will now be run virtually, using Zoom (an online video call platform), so you can join in our fun singing sessions from anywhere in the world! This will be an exciting opportunity to connect with others in the Ovacome community, and uplift each other.

The choir is led by musical director Naveen Arles MISM, BCA, who may be supported by some choir volunteers. A member of Ovacome staff will also be on the call.

We meet every Sunday 3.30-5pm.

Register for choir below. Once registered, you will be automatically added to the weekly mailing list and will be sent the joining instructions every Friday. You can unsubscribe from this list at any point. If you do not receive the joining instructions, please check your email junk folder. Please call 0207 299 6654 if you have any queries.

Please note, our office is closed over the weekend so you may not receive joining instructions in time if you register after 4pm on a Friday. In this instance you will be registered to attend the following week's session.

By attending an Ovacome online event, you agree to our participation agreement, which you can read here. Please note that we will not tolerate any form of discriminatory or offensive comments during our event. Anyone who makes any comments that are deemed as such will be removed from the session.

We recommend that you use your personal email address to register for our events rather than a company address. This is for your privacy.

You can join any time between 3.30 and 3.50pm for social time or join at 3.50pm to sing until 5pm with a short break.

"The Ovacome choir is a joy. Everyone there knows how you feel, but without having to explain yourself."

"Singing through my treatment was a great way to distract myself and to find some joy in life when there was so much uncertainty."

"It's not about being good at singing - like me, many of the ladies there have 'chemo-brain', so remembering the lyrics can be an uphill struggle. But we just laugh about it and sing our hearts out."

"[My mum] just lights up when she's there. The laughter is infectious and she has made friends for life."

If you have any questions about the choir or our new virtual sessions, please email Julia at [email protected] or call 0207 299 6654.
