Seven years ago, I was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. After major surgery and six months of chemotherapy, I gradually returned to good health; most women diagnosed at the same stage as me are not so fortunate. During my treatment I really benefitted from the support of Ovacome.

Ovacome offers a free telephone support line, a 24 hour online forum, email support, instant chat services and face to face support groups. Ovacome also provides accurate information, raises awareness of symptoms and funds a research fellow at Birmingham University.

This year, I have decided to raise money to support the work of Ovacome. On 23rd March I will be modelling at the annual 'Touch of Teal Afternoon Tea with Ovacome' at the Mayfair Hotel. As a smaller charity, every donation really helps Ovacome to continue and expand their services, providing vital support to those affected by this lesser known form of cancer. Any amount that you can offer would be greatly appreciated and would contribute towards their important work.

Please share this page with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere, so that I can reach my target and that together, we can help Ovacome to do more for those affected by this disease. Thank you!
