Last year I undertook on my first 100km ultra challenge coinciding with what transpired to be the hottest weekend of the year! Starting and finishing in Pateley Bridge following the Nidderdale circuit. This challenging walk took me 30 hours, starting on the Saturday, walking through the night (it was cooler) finishing on the Sunday.

Whilst I did say never again, here I am again a year older a little 'heavier' but no wiser I'm again attempting a 100km challenge only this time in the Lake District (I am hoping its cooler this year!) Will I finish this year! and how long do you think it will take me ?
In attempting the walk I hope to raise a greater awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer. These symptoms can vary from person to person but its important that we are able to recognise the signs
B Is for bloating that doesn't come and go.
E Is for eating difficulty and feeling full more quickly.
A Is for abdominal and pelvic pain you feel most days.
T Is for toilet changes in urination and bowel habit.
Please would you share these with at least one friend.

Now have a guess - Will I finish! How long do you think it will take me to complete the challenge ? There will be a prize for the person closest to the time.
