Sadly my family was hugely affected late 2019, my mum after being unwell for a short while was diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer.

Beginning treatment we were all hopeful for a recovery as Mum fought hard and things seemed to be going well but unfortunately in September 2020 it had taken hold and she could no longer fight leaving us in September 2020.

For my family, friends and all of mum colleagues it left a huge hole in our lives. Mum was an absolute rock and role model for the family.

She looked after us all as a family, supporting in everyway possible. In addition to supporting us she ran many charity programs through her employer Vodafone helping all walks of life from lunches for the elderly, charity football matches and even hands on projects in the local schools.

Quiet simply I wanted to run London on behalf of Ovacome to raise money in honour of my mum and the work she did for others giving to a charity I know she would be proud of.

My hope is this will help for Ovacome to continue support in every way they do for Ovarian cancer patients and families affect by it. Giving the opportunity to d spread awareness of symptoms, give guidance and offer the massive support network through chats and meetings.

Every donation to Ovacome goes towards creating new services to support all those affected by this less common cancer.

Any amount that feel able to give could make a huge difference to life of someone going through diagnosis and treatment at the moment.

It would mean a lot to me if you could share this fundraising page with your friends and family, as well as on your social media.

I want to support Ovacome to do more for those affected by this disease, but I need your help to do so.
Thank you!
