We wanted to raise money for Ovacome and to raise awareness of the work that she did professionally as a Speech and Language Therapist supporting children with Autism. On the week marking the first anniversary we held a cake sale for Ovacome, but asked that people request their cakes using PECS - Picture Exchange Communication System in order that people attending the sale learnt about one of the ways a child with Autism might communicate as well as raising awareness of Ovarian cancer.
