Could you help us to improve patient and carer experience for LGBT+ people affected by ovarian cancer?

Some of our members have made us aware that many ovarian cancer resources are not inclusive enough and there does not seem to be enough general awareness of the discrepancies in cancer care often faced by the LGBT community.

We want to know how we can better support our community and provide resources which are relevant, informed by personal experiences and accurate.

We'd like to hear about your experiences, what information and support you felt was missing, what was helpful and how you think we can work to improve overall patient and carer experience.

Our initial group meeting will take place on Tuesday 18 June (time TBC). You can join the meeting by phone or by video call.

The group is open to anyone whose life has been affected by ovarian cancer, whether you are a patient, carer, friend or family member.

If you would like to join the group or simply find out more, please contact [email protected] or call 0800 008 7054.
