Ovacome Choir The Ovacome Choir is a social, relaxed singing group which provides an opportunity for anyone whose life has been affected by ovarian cancer to meet others with similar experiences, in a fun and supportive environment. Our free choir will now be run virtually, using Zoom (an online video call platform), so you can join in our fun singing sessions from anywhere in the world! This will be an exciting opportunity to connect with others in the Ovacome community, and uplift each other when we are spending more time indoors. If you would like to join in our Virtual Choir sessions, please fill out the sign up form below, and we will be in touch about how to attend the Zoom meetings. The virtual choir will run every Sunday, from 3.30pm to 5 pm. You can join any time between 3.30pm and 4pm for social time or join at 4pm to sing until 5pm with a short break. . I'd like to take part . "The Ovacome choir is a joy. Everyone there knows how you feel, but without having to explain yourself." "Singing through my treatment was a great way to distract myself and to find some joy in life when there was so much uncertainty." "It's not about being good at singing - like me, many of the ladies there have 'chemo-brain', so remembering the lyrics can be an uphill struggle. But we just laugh about it and sing our hearts out." "[My mum] just lights up when she's there. The laughter is infectious and she has made friends for life." . If you have any questions about the choir or our new virtual sessions, please email Julia at [email protected] or call 0207 299 6654.
