Friday tea and chat

Our weekly Friday afternoon sessions provide an opportunity to speak to others living with ovarian cancer, whether to talk through anything that's on your mind, ask for advice, or just to have a chat! 

While we ask that you arrive on time, you don't have to stay for the whole two hours; you're welcome to join us for as long as you like. If you don't feel ready to join in the conversation and just want to listen in, then just let us know when you sign up.

Please note that we have another group for the family members, partners and friends of those diagnosed. You can register for our separate family and friends group here.

By attending an Ovacome online event, you agree to our participation agreement, which you can read here. Please note that we will not tolerate any form of discriminatory or offensive comments during our event. Anyone who makes any comments that are deemed as such will be removed from the session.

If you would like to make a donation when you register, and are a UK taxpayer, Ovacome can claim Gift Aid on your donation. Gift Aid can increase your donation by 25% at no cost to you by enabling us to reclaim the tax. If you are a UK taxpayer and wish to benefit from this scheme please tick that you are UK taxpayer when you register. By ticking this box, you are declaring that you would like Ovacome to reclaim the tax from the Inland Revenue on all donations you make until you notify us otherwise. You confirm you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6th April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that the charity that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year. You understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. You understand that charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you give or have given in the last four tax years.
