How my company can help
Companies can support our work in a number of ways, such as: making a donation, sponsoring one of our events, through employee fundraising or payroll giving.
Nominating Ovacome as your charity of the year will help raise awareness of the disease as well as much needed funds.
It has great benefits for your company too – we can help motivate staff and build team relationships. We can also help increase your profile, drive sales and celebrate the partnership in the media.
Payroll Giving is a simple and tax-effective scheme, which allows you to donate to the charity of your choice by a direct deduction from your salary. If your company has a Payroll Giving scheme established the payroll department deducts the amount pledged from your pay. The charity receives your donation, and the tax you would have paid on this amount is added on by the government.
If your company does not have an established Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn) programme then you can sign up individually.
Linking your brand or product with Ovacome can be a great way to raise your profile as a socially responsible brand, drive sales and raise vital funds for our work.
We have a number of opportunities available; from sponsoring one of our events such as our annual Members Day, Nurse Training Days or our Survivors Teaching Students programme to one of our sporting events or fundraising activities. We can tailor packages to meet your needs and ensure that your support is celebrated in a variety of ways. Contact us for details of sponsorship opportunities.
Providing gifts-in-kind in the form of auction prizes or office equipment is a brilliant way of supporting our work. Please contact us if you are interested in making a donation
How we can support your fundraising
Fundraising is a great way to motivate staff and encourage teams across an organisation to work together towards a common goal. It is also perfect for encouraging a little friendly competition between sites, departments or teams!
We can provide:
Fundraising tips and ideas
Places in events such as runs and cycles, or tailor events to suit you
Information and fundraising materials for your staff, your website or intranet or for your customers and suppliers to help you spread the message about your activities and the work of the charity
Education sessions for your staff conducted by our specialist nurses so that employees can learn more about ovarian cancer.
We will also help increase your profile with our supporters by celebrating the partnership in our newsletters, online, through social media and in the media.
