Can you help me make a real difference to the life of someone affected by ovarian cancer?

I'm embarking on a deeply personal journey as I lace up my running shoes for the London Marathon. Having faced this awful disease twice, I've been on a rollercoaster of resilience, hope, and determination. Each step of this marathon isn't just about the physical exertion; it's a testament to the strength of the human spirit in overcoming adversity.

I’m raising funds for Ovacome, the national UK charity focused on providing support and information to anyone affected by this disease. Ovacome is a strong community for those who have been diagnosed, those who think that they might be at risk, friends and family, and healthcare professionals.

Through my own experiences, I've come to understand the critical importance of support, research, and awareness in the fight against ovarian cancer. That's why I'm dedicating this marathon to raising funds for Ovacome. Every donation, every mile, and every word shared about my journey serves as a beacon of hope for those currently battling this disease and those who will face it in the future.

By participating in the London Marathon, I'm not just running for myself; I'm running for the countless individuals who have been impacted by ovarian cancer. Together, let's turn each stride into a symbol of solidarity, strength, and progress in the fight against this formidable opponent. Join me in making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer, one step at a time.

Thank you so much for helping me to ensure that Ovacome can continue to be there to support those affected by ovarian cancer when they need it most. Together we can make a real difference! Shelbi Ciccone
