Ovacome is the ovarian cancer charity supporting anyone affected by ovarian cancer. This includes the health and cancer care professionals working to treat and support those diagnosed with the disease and their loved ones.

Ovarian cancer is commonly a delayed diagnosis, given that the symptoms can mimic less serious conditions.

Ovacome provide education for healthcare professionals, clinical education programmes for students and recruitment for research studies to improve outcomes for those diagnosed with ovarian cancer, as well as providing emotional support to those affected by the disease. They have 24 hour support forums, including a specific forum for women diagnosed under the age of 45.

I will be taking on the challenge of the Great North Run in memory of my Grandma, and would appreciate any donations greatly. Thank you
