LOT 2

A three night stay at a Cotswold stone cottage (reserve £300)

To be taken either at the weekend or midweek to suit the winner, dates by negotiation with owners. Not over Christmas and New Year. No dogs. No smoking. The property is unsuitable for those with mobility issues or for small children.

Maximum 5 guests.

The Cotswold stone cottage dates from the  1750s and underwent a total refurbishment 8 years ago.   Accommodation comprises a well-equipped eat in kitchen with induction hob, separate oven, fridge and dishwasher. The cosy living room has an inglenook fireplace, Freeview TV and  DVD player.  There are three bedrooms- two double and one single.  The bathroom has a bath with shower over. There is no separate wc. The utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and  additional fridge/freezer. There is also a BBQ and a fire pit. The cottage has WIFI and a landline but there is no mobile signal.  Access is down a narrow lane with parking for 2 cars which allows for turning.  The winner will need to supply their own bedlinen and towels.

Original Atari VCS 2600 (reserve £150)

An original Atari VCS 2600, manufactured by Atari, Inc under Warner Communications in 1983. All the parts and controllers have been fully disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove any previous dust or other contaminants. All the switches and dials have been cleaned and lubricated. Comes with a new internationally compatible power supply, with a UK adaptor. Audio/Video cabling is also included. This Atari can be connected to a TV using the yellow, white and red RCA jacks. The console has been serviced to replace parts that commonly fail over time, including a new voltage regulator, power socket and capacitors. This is a North American Atari 2600. The Video output is in NTSC, vs. PAL which was used in the UK. NTSC Atari’s run software the way the developers intended, since the software was almost universally written in North America. Most modern LCD TV’s will handle an NTSC signal. Comes with original box.
