Thankfully, we also found the Ovacome website and forum, where we found information, personal experiences, professional advice and a whole host of resources - along with the warmest and most supportive group of women
On 11 September 2022, members of Ovacome's staff team and clinicians from UCL and St Barts will be running the Bacchus Half and 10k (Denbies Vineyard, Dorking) to raise funds for those affected by ovarian cancer.
We have chosen to fundraise for Ovacome as its a charity very close to Barbara's heart. As a group of nurses we see the effects Cancer and cancer treatment can have on patients, and how charities help to bridge the gap for these patients.
