Ovacome is the ovarian cancer charity supporting anyone affected by ovarian cancer. This includes the health and cancer care professionals working to treat and support those diagnosed with the disease and their loved ones.

We provide clear, clinically accurate and expertly reviewed information resources, to assist you in supporting your patients and helping them to understand all aspects of their care. We run clinical webinars on a range of topics relating to ovarian cancer treatment and research, which are open to both patients and clinicians/students working the field. We offer a support network for patients and their families, through our 24 hour online forum and our wide range of local and national support groups.

We also offer a clinical education programme composed of two strands; the first is aimed at medical and nursing students to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and the variety of ways that these can present, delivered through the lived experiences of our volunteers. The second is aimed at clinicians currently working in gynae-oncology and highlights the diversity of patient experience in ovarian cancer care, amplifying the voices of patients from underrepresented groups. We offer simple and meaningful ways to address health inequalities in your everyday practice.

Ovacome is a membership charity and membership is open to health professionals and students. As an Ovacome member, you'll be notified of any upcoming clinical talks, as well as new campaigns and insights into patient perspective. You'll also receive our magazine three times a year, which includes research updates, patient stories and features around living with ovarian cancer. You can request extra copies of this for distribution to patients. Membership is completely free of charge and open to any professional or student working in a field relating to ovarian cancer. This includes allied health professionals and cancer support centre staff. Become a member here.

We regularly support recruitment to research studies in the field of ovarian cancer, by sharing these with our community. If you are working on a study and would like us to promote this in our communications, please complete this form.

Finally, as a support charity, we are also here to provide emotional support to those working in the field of ovarian cancer. We understand how difficult this can be, so our team are here if you ever just need a chat. Call us on 0800 008 7054, email [email protected] , or type a message into the pink chat box at the bottom of your screen.
