Ovacome launches new Scotland bi-monthly meet-up group
As we head into the new month, we’re delighted to confirm the launch of our new online Scotland group. Set to launch on Tuesday 12 November, this group offers our members based in Scotland the chance for regular online meetups every other month.
Scotland-based members are a vital part of the Ovacome community and our hope is that this group will help strengthen the connections and relationships of our members living there, particularly for those who may be feeling very isolated. We visit Scotland for our face-to-face events and we are hopeful that this group offers our members in Scotland a more regular space to have their voices heard and meet together from across the country.
Speaking regarding the group’s launch, our Head of Support Services Anna has said:
“At Ovacome we have returned to regular regional events each month. After meeting with some of our members in Scotland over the summer we wanted to offer them a space to regularly meet online, which is why we've created the bi-monthly Scotland group. This group will offer our members in Scotland the chance to chat with others, receive support and use some sessions to focus on topics of particular interest.
As this is a new group, we would particularly welcome feedback from members with any comments and suggestions of what they’d like to see as part of the Scotland group. We can’t wait for the group to launch this month and look forward to seeing many of our Scotland-based members!"
Once again, the group will launch on Tuesday 12 November and will run every other month on the second Tuesday, from 2pm-3.30pm.
