Manisha Koirala
As a widely celebrated Bollywood and Netflix star, Manisha has received numerous awards throughout her phenomenal career. She has most recently starred in the record-breaking Netflix series Heeramandi and has since won the Best Actress award. Since being diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2012, Manisha has continually used her platform to raise vital awareness in the UK and beyond. She has written a moving memoir titled 'Healed', which documents her cancer experience. In January 2025, Manisha became an Ambassador for Ovacome and has worked tirelessly with the organisation to challenge myths and stigma surrounding ovarian cancer. We are incredibly excited to give attendees the wonderful opportunity to hear Manisha talk about her remarkable life.

About Ovarian Cancer
Each year, around 7,500 people are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the UK. There is no screening programme for ovarian cancer. Symptoms are vague and include persistent bloating, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly, pelvic or abdominal pain, and changes in toilet habits. This is why Ovacome spreads vital awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer.
