This year on September 11th, myself, Pete and Lyds will be hitting the roads of Newcastle to complete the Great North Run.

Every year in the UK 7000 people are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Many may have had symptoms for months but dismissed them as digestive problems or signs of the menopause or getting older. Most people are diagnosed when their cancer has spread, but earlier stage diagnosis can improve outcomes.

Ovacome are constantly working to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer far and wide. They want to emphasise how important it is to go to your GP if you have persistent symptoms that are unusual for you.

We can make a difference! Please help me raise awareness, and give as little or as much to a fantastic cause.
