In 2023, a close friend’s Mum (Beverley) was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. Beverley continues to inspire those around her with her witty Facebook posts about her treatment journey, but we all know that treatment is no easy ride. Beverley is receiving unwavering support from Ovacome. Ovacome receive no government funding and relies solely on donations from people like you and I - the support that this charity provides to anyone affected by Ovarian cancer is irreplaceable, whether they’re newly diagnosed, going through a recurrence, recovering from treatment or dealing with the diagnosis of a loved one.

I am taking on the challenge of running 155km (approx.93 miles) in dreary and miserable January - that is the equivalent of 5km EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. in January. Those of you that know me well will know that this time a year ago, I couldn’t even run to the end of the road let alone a 5k… so this is going to be quite the challenge!

Together, we can ensure that Ovacome receives enough support so that they can continue in their tireless effort to help loved ones like our Beverley. Thank you in advance for your support x Victoria McWhirter
