Volunteering opportunities

Our volunteer supporters enable Ovacome to share vital information about ovarian cancer signs and symptoms with as many communities as possible. They spread our B.E.A.T. campaign materials far and wide, increase awareness and raise funds.

Ovacome supporters also volunteer their stories so that we can use case studies and experiences to raise the profile of ovarian cancer and reach more people with our messaging.

We depend on our volunteers to support our Survivors Teaching Students project that reaches out to student clinicians and aims to end the problem of late diagnosis. Many people who support us in this special way say that they want to turn their experience of ovarian cancer around and draw something positive from it.

We are also looking for individuals with professionals skills that they could bring to our team, whether as a trustee of the charity, or as a part time, flexible volunteer worker.
