This sponsored walk brings Ovacome's community together for a couple of hours in Belfast, the day after our annual Health and Wellbeing Day in the city. It’s a chance to meet familiar faces from Ovacome’s online community, make friends, and raise vital funds and awareness to help us continue our life-changing work.
What could be better than learning about Belfast's rich history all while raising vital funds in aid of Ovacome's life-changing work?
Ovacome's Wee Walk offers the opportunity to learn about Belfast's history through an exciting tour, "Well Behaved Women Seldom Make History", connect with others in our ovarian cancer community in a relaxed but impactful way, and to collect sponsorship that will directly support Ovacome's vital services.
As we receive no government funding, every stride taken and every penny raised will make an impact. Your walk could help fund our future Health and Wellbeing days in Belfast – events that offer information, connection, and a space to meet others affected by ovarian cancer in Northern Ireland.
When you register for the walk via the button below, you will set up a fundraising page with a minimum target of £50 - this could help Ovacome to fund an online support group session for 12 people.
