Everyone loves a bit of healthy competition so why not organise a charity tournament and fundraise for Ovacome?

£992 could pay for 1 year of online support groups and workshops for someone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
How do I get started?
1. Pick a date and venue and get in touch
With large tournament events, we recommend you start planning at least a month in advance. It may be useful to create a committee of planners within your circle or sports group! Consider accessibility, size, facilities and equipment when choosing a venue. Set a budget and fundraising target for your tournament.
2. Set up a fundraising page and spread the word
Set up a fundraising page on our website to collect online donations and promote your tournament. You may want to create posters, send emails to other local sports groups and share your event on social media. Share your story and why Ovacome's work matters to you.
3. Hold your event and start fundraising!
It's time for the big day! During the day, you could raise money online sharing the link to your page or collect cash - people love options! Once you've finished your event, get in touch with photos and videos so we can share your kindess with our community online!
Need a hand? We're here to help. Email fundraising@ovacome.org.uk or call 0207 299 6654 to speak to a member of our team.
Want some inspiration?
If you're thinking of hosting a charity tournament day for Ovacome, here are just a few creative ideas:
You might want to reach out to your local golf club and hold a charity golf day - sell tickets and offer delicious refreshments for a donation!
Why don't you organise a sports society tournament on your university campus? May the best team win...
If you're a fan of dancing the night away, you could hold a Friday night 'Dance-a-thon' for Ovacome! Participants could collect sponserships and guests could donate to buy refreshments and raffle tickets. Who will be the last person standing on the dance floor?

Make your tournament day memorable!
Spread important awareness through handing out Ovacome leaflets, posters and wallet cards to your guests.

Dress the part! Ovacome t-shirts and hoodies featuring the BEAT signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer are available in our shop
