"I am blessed to be on the road to recovery. One of the treasures in my support tool kit is the Ovacome Craft group - loving crafting, the side effects of chemo have proved a bit challenging at times and I had lost not only ability but also a huge amount of confidence - these gentle wonderful sessions have ignited a real spark and with Faith's gentle encouragement I am finding the whole experience truly healing."

Support available to access online sessions
If you require support to attend one of our online sessions, please let us know when you sign up. Some examples of support we can give include:
- Enabling translated captioning
- Closed captioning is available on all our Zoom sessions
- Sending out transcripts of workshop sessions (where appropriate)
- Translators including BSL. We usually require around three weeks advanced notice to allow for booking.
- Tech assistance – we have a user guide to help with our online Zoom events and we are here to help people get connected. We can set up a practice Zoom meeting with a member of the Ovacome team. We can also talk through any questions you may have about this technology.
- Financial assistance - we want to ensure that every Ovacome member can access the workshops they want to without worrying about the associated costs. For example, we can cover the internet costs for people who would like to join our online workshops.
Please note that by attending an Ovacome online event, you agree to our participation agreement, which you can read here. Please note that we will not tolerate any form of discriminatory or offensive comments during our event. Anyone who makes any comments that are deemed as such will be removed from the session.
We recommend that you use your personal email address to register for our events rather than a company address. This is for your privacy.
"The crafting sessions are fabulous - Faith puts so much thought & care into each project so whatever issues you are managing, with her support it’s all doable - having been left with quite bad neuropathy after my first chemo I lost so much confidence as an artist & crafter & these sessions have played a huge part in me finding ‘my’ way to express myself through creative mindfulness"
All of our online events and groups are free. However, if you can spare a few pounds to cover the cost of your registration, this will help us continue to provide free support to those who aren’t able to do so. You can make a donation when you register.
Thank you so much for your support.
