I’m taking on the 2027 London Marathon in memory of Debbie and I’d love your support! 🏃🏻♀️❤️
In April 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon once again, raising vital funds for Ovacome, the UK’s ovarian cancer support charity. 💙
After completing the London Marathon for Ovacome in 2025, I knew I wanted to come back and do it again. Last time, my knee unfortunately gave up on me, making those final miles incredibly tough. This time, I want to see what I can achieve with the right training behind me, better my time and, most importantly, prove to myself that I can do hard things just like Deb!
I’ve been inspired by Debbie throughout her own journey. Watching her face something so incredibly difficult and how she showed her strength throughout her treatment has reminded me that sometimes we have to keep going, even when things feel impossibly hard. I know a marathon is nothing compared to what Debbie went through, but I want to carry that mindset with me through every mile.
And what better way to challenge myself than by doing it for Ovacome again? 💙
Ovacome provides expert support, trusted information and a welcoming community for anyone affected by ovarian cancer. Their specialist team offers 1-1 support, a 24-hour forum, support groups, workshops and events, helping people feel informed, supported and less alone.
Ovacome receives no government funding, so every donation really does make a difference. £28 could fund an hour of specialist 1-1 support, while £124 could fund a support group for 12 people.
If you’re able to donate, I would be so incredibly grateful. And if you can’t, sharing my fundraising page would mean just as much. Every donation and every bit of support will help get me through those 26.2 miles and raise money for a charity that does such important work. 🏃🏼♀️💙
Thank you so much! xx
