Help me to make a difference to those affected by ovarian cancer by Sponsoring me to run the Great North Run

Seven years ago, my mum was diagnosed with aggressive ovarian cancer. From the moment she heard those words, she threw herself into understanding her illness and exploring every possible therapy. She researched alternative treatments, looked into new clinical trials, and followed emerging scientific developments with incredible determination.

Ovacome supported her throughout that journey. Their expert webinars kept her informed about the latest research. Their team answered her questions about different therapies and helped her understand the specific type of cancer she was facing. We also attended one of their free health and wellbeing days together, which provided practical information, emotional support, and guidance for anyone affected by ovarian cancer. It helped both of us feel more equipped and less alone during an incredibly difficult time.

I’m running the Great North Run on the 13th September to fundraise in her memory so Ovacome can continue providing this vital support to others. Every donation helps them reach more families, offer more guidance, support research and raise awareness of a disease that is too often diagnosed late.

Thank you for supporting this cause.
