In memory of my loved one.

Anja was a truly caring and wonderful individual, and an extremely dedicated veterinary surgeon in her professional life. A proud Belgian, a loving partner and best friend to Phil, along with passions for animals and nature, walking, Rock music, photography, yoga and travel. Someone who touched so many lives through her work and many friendships. Her positivity, infectious laugh and amazing smile always lifting the spirits of everyone she came in to contact with. In September 2023 at the young age of 56 she incredibly sadly passed away after bravely battling ovarian cancer, following her diagnosis in early 2022. Ovacome was extremely helpful to her during this most difficult and challenging time in her life. With this in mind we have created Anja’s day to celebrate her and the things she loved, but primarily to raise money to support the work of this fantastic organisation. It is incredibly important that Ovacome’s vital support for women everywhere as they negotiate their ovarian cancer journey continues, and raises awareness of a disease which all too easily goes undetected.
