Harry's cycling to change lives

Tour de Ovacome

Our Group/Family

I’m taking on Tour de Ovacome – and I’d love your support 🚴‍♂️

Hi everyone,

This August, I will be taking part in the Tour de Ovacome cycling challenge - getting out on my bike to raise vital funds in the fight against ovarian cancer and its associated diseases.

In 2025, my (now) fianceé Natalie was diagnosed with a borderline ovarian tumour. This diagnosis has had a profound impact on both her and myself, encompassing two surgeries, regular scans, fertility treatment and the ongoing emotional toll.

Natalie isn't alone. Each day in the UK, 21 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and associated diseases. Many women, young and old, are often unaware until later on in the disease cycle due to hard-to-detect symptoms and reduced awareness. Ovarian cancer is known as the silent killer.

Ovacome are a vital resource for women who are dealing with such conditions. Focused primarily on providing support and information to those affected - directly and indirectly - Ovacome have helped Natalie and I deal with her diagnosis and the challenges this has brought.

Therefore, as part of the 'Tour de Ovacome', I will be completing a '21' inspired challenge this August: I will be cycling a little over 210km (231 to be exact!) across the 1st and 2nd August. Joining me on the challenge will be my dad, Andrew. Also joining us for part of the ride will be Natalie's brother, Nathan.

We are hoping to raise £1000, as well as awareness of Ovarian cancer and its associated diseases. Fundraising is vital to Ovacome, who receive no government funding.

Together we can BEAT ovarian cancer!
