More Than My Diagnosis – Touch of Teal 2026

As many of you know, ovarian cancer has been a significant part of my life over the last few years. In 2024, shortly after completing chemotherapy, I took part in Touch of Teal for the first time. At a point when my confidence had been deeply affected by everything I had been through, stepping onto that catwalk was both challenging and empowering. It reminded me that I was more than my diagnosis and helped me begin rebuilding confidence in myself.

Two years later, I am honoured to have been asked to return as a model for Touch of Teal 2026. While I continue to attend regular check-ups and live with the uncertainty that many cancer survivors understand, I also recognise how far I have come. Taking part again feels like a celebration of resilience, hope, and the support that has helped me along the way.

I am raising funds for Ovacome because I know how important it is for people affected by ovarian cancer to have access to reliable information, compassionate support, and a community that understands what they are going through. Ovacome provides a lifeline for so many people navigating diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and life beyond cancer.

By supporting my fundraising, you are helping Ovacome continue their vital work and ensuring that others facing ovarian cancer do not have to face it alone.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Thank you for supporting this incredible charity, for supporting me on this journey, and for helping to raise awareness of ovarian cancer.

With love and gratitude,

Jo
