I’m taking on the 2026 London Marathon for Ovacome – and I’d love your support 🏃♀️🏃♂️
In April 2026, I’m running the London Marathon to raise vital funds and awareness for Ovacome, the UK’s ovarian cancer support charity.
On the 26th of February this year our family got the devastating news that after months of being unwell, with breathlessness and adominal swelling my Auntie was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer.
She has been so incredibly strong going through 5 rounds of intense chemotherapy followed by major abdominal surgery in July , then followed by a further 2 rounds of chemotherapy. I am taking on this huge challenge to show my love and support for her and to raise awareness and the importance to the early detection of Ovarian Cancer through routine blood tests, of anyone presenting the symptoms my auntie first suffered from.
Ovacome is the UK’s ovarian cancer support charity, providing vital support services to those diagnosed or impacted by Ovarian Cancer; this includes people who have either been diagnosed with the disease or think that they might be at risk, as well as their friends and family and healthcare professionals.
- Just £10 could pay to train one clinician or medical student on recognising symptoms and patient experience.
- Just £28 could provide an hour of 1-1 specialist support for someone affected by ovarian cancer.
- £124 could pay for six weeks of online support for someone
Please help me make a difference, by sharing this page with your friends, family, colleagues, and on social media to help spread the word.
