Join our Teal Walk
Take part in the virtual community challenge for walkers of all abilities to raise funds for Ovacome’s life-changing ovarian cancer support and information services. It's easy!
1. Choose your Challenge
Set yourself a sponsored walking goal – a number or steps or miles each day, week, or month – even just a commitment to walking each day.
2. Start Fundraising
Click the ‘Start Fundraising’ button above to let us know about your challenge and set up your fundraising page. Set your own target, explain why you want to support our work and share your page with friends and family to collect sponsorship.
3. Walk!
Get out walking and track your distance using a free app like Strava. You can link this to your fundraiser to update loved ones on your progress. Once you’ve raised £50, we’ll send you an Ovacome t-shirt to wear as you walk to help raise awareness of ovarian cancer.
4. Walk With Us
Join us on 27 September 2025 in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham to Walk With Us! This community event is a chance to meet others affected by ovarian cancer, stretch your legs, raise awareness and raise funds! Everyone’s welcome.
Just £117 could train five health professionals on how to recognise the signs of ovarian cancer and on patient support needs
“I wanted to achieve something that would prove to women with cancer everywhere that you can still live and achieve great things after a diagnosis of stage 3 or above. I wanted to share that there is hope” - Shanie
Shanie and Daryl climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to prove what’s possible after ovarian cancer and to raise funds and awareness for the community that supported them.
Wendy hiked the 90-mile length of Hadrian’s Wall, coast to coast!
Wendy walked “to give back to the small charity that supported me”
