Support Ovacome through the annual Touch of Teal Tea!
The Touch of Teal Tea with Ovacome is an annual fundraising event founded and led by Ovacome's Patron, Lady Adele Sewell MBE, who was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer in 2007. Touch of Teal is uplifting, empowering, and impactful. It gives 12 people, all of whom live alongside an ovarian cancer diagnosis, the opportunity to model luxury clothes from brands such as John Lewis and Apricot, take centre stage, be pampered, and share their story.
Ovacome wouldn't exist or be able to offer our services without the support of this wonderful community. As a small charity that receives no government funding, our
donors and fundraisers are our lifeline, and we wouldn’t be able to make such an
impact without events such as Touch of Teal.
Last year, Touch of Teal raised over £24,000, and since its launch in 2010, the event has raised more than £209,000 to fund Ovacome’s vital work. With your support this year, we hope to raise even more. Just £28 could help to provide an hour of 1-2-1 specialist support for someone affected by ovarian cancer. £124 could help to provide an in-person support group session for 12 people. £1,500 could cover the costs of running their Members Series webinars for 1 year. That's 6 sessions reaching 150 people per webinar featuring personal stories from those living with ovarian cancer. £7,200 could cover the costs of providing a Health and Wellbeing day. Whatever you can give, every penny raised will go towards Ovacome’s life-changing work and will change lives.
