In loving memory of Anne Rogers
This page is dedicated to my beautiful Mum. She was a truly extraordinary woman. A loyal wife, a devoted mum, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and an exceptional friend to so many. During her lifetime, she was a dedicated specialist teacher, passionate about helping those less fortunate and making a difference wherever she could.
To honour and celebrate my Mum’s memory, I’m raising money for Ovacome to help create “self-care boxes” for those living with ovarian cancer, and for the people who care for them. Each box brings together a collection of carefully chosen items, selected by patients and families who understand this journey first-hand, offering both practical support and moments of comfort when they are needed most.
Ovacome holds a very special place in my heart, especially as my Mum was seen by Dr Gordon Jayson, one of their specialist doctors. He gave her something so important compassion, kindness, and hope. She always spoke about how much that meant to her, describing it in her own words as “invaluable.” Any donations, no matter how small, would be truly appreciated and will help support others who need that same care and kindness.
Finally, my last words are for you, my darling Mama. I will love you always and miss you forever. The love you gave me continues to guide my steps, just as your hand once did. It was an honour to be yours, and I am truly privileged that you were mine. Until we meet again.
