In memory of my loved one.
15 Jun 1955 - 16 Mar 2023
Marion lived life to the full, and was full of life. She made time for everyone, no matter how busy she was. In her own words, in an article she wrote to highlight the early, often missed, symptoms of ovarian cancer, “I am a loving-life kind of gal. I love every small inconsequential bit of it – a well-made cup of tea, an apostrophe in the right place, a West Bromwich Albion win. I’m not ready to give up on these simple everyday pleasures yet.” She is hugely missed by her siblings, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, who all count themselves so lucky to have known her.

I wish we could still walk with Marion, rather than for her… but a Sunday spent walking and talking in the sunshine, and enjoying food together is the best way to keep her spirit alive.

Marion loved family get togethers and she’s the reason we now meet up every year to celebrate the wonderful, big, fun loving sister, aunty, cousin that she was. She would have LOVED being with everyone today but she’s still the thread that ties us all together and she would LOVE that too 😀

Yesterday, a group of us got together to walk and remember my incredible Aunty Marion who passed away in March last year. I want to make ta donation in her memory as Ovacome provided her with emotional support and a community following her ovarian cancer diagnosis. Thank you

arion, the most wonderful larger than life character that I hugely miss - we know you’d have been watching down on us yesterday having a right laugh at our expense attempting to walk through the storms, kids, babies and prams in tow. So dearly missed and loved xx
