Financial assistance

We want to ensure that Ovacome members can access the support groups, workshops, webinars and events they want to - without worrying about the associated costs.

For example, we can:

• Help cover the price of transport to attend Health and Wellbeing Days or regional support group meetings.
• Contribute to accommodation expenses if staying away from home to join an Ovacome event.
• We can also help to arrange your travel and accommodation for you.

Financial assistance is also available for friends and family accompanying someone with an ovarian diagnosis to our events, or if they have access needs themselves. 

We can also:

• Assist with phone bills for those wanting to call the Ovacome support line.
• Pay internet costs for people who would like to join our online Staying Connected programme.

This list is not exhaustive and there are lots of different ways that Ovacome may be able to provide you with financial assistance. 

In addition to financial assistance, we are here to help get people connected. As we use Zoom for our online events, we can set up a practise Zoom meeting with a member of the Ovacome team – or can talk through any questions you may have about this technology.
