Meet the Models
Introducing enthusiastic cyclist Janet, from London. Janet has found “the support I’ve received from other ladies with ovarian cancer to be invaluable”. She wants to help raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and bring hope to others.

Joyce, from The Wirral, has been living alongside an ovarian cancer diagnosis for 23 years. Joyce wants to show that there is a life to be lived with ovarian cancer and give hope to other women.
Meet Tina from London – a community health champion promoting health and awareness in her community. Tina wants to inform, empower, and support young women to address “women’s health inequalities face-to-face”.
Introducing Simone from Sussex, who has been fundraising for Ovacome since 2021 through her very own pop-up library! “With Ovacome behind me, I feel that I have somewhere to turn and talk to if need be, that will understand.”
Meet Stephanie, who believes the funds she raises “could mean another woman gets the clear, compassionate information she needs at the hardest time of her life”. She says, “Ovacome helped me understand what was happening at a time when I felt scared and lost”.
Meet Sbba! As director of Asian Star Radio, she worked closely with Ovacome to help us put on An Audience with Manisha Koirala back in July, and now, is dedicated to raising funds and awareness as a model. “I want to curate a new me, regaining confidence, and living this new normal on my terms”.
