Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (OCAM) 2026 is fast-approaching and we'd love you to join our community of fundraisers to make an even bigger impact this March. We need your help to reach our £75,000 target so that we can continue to provide our life-changing support and information services to anyone who needs them.

Why fundraise for Ovacome?
Ovacome receives no government funding. That's why we rely on our fundraisers and donors to help us continue our life-changing work. Without their help, we wouldn't have the funds, resources and support needed to show up for our community. When you fundraise for Ovacome, you can make a direct impact.
£117 could train five health professionals on how to recognise the signs of ovarian cancer and on patient support needs.
£336 could allow us to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer among 7200 people.
£992 could pay for 1 year of online support groups and workshops for someone diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Step 3: order your Ovacome kit
Get in touch if you'd like to wear Ovacome merchandise at your fundraising or challenge event. We'd be more than happy to provide you with a T-shirt, or running vest once you've reached £50.00 raised - keep us updated on your fundraising milestones! Please do get in touch with us at fundraising@ovacome.org.uk if you'd like to sell Ovacome merchandise at your event. We can provide you with collection boxes, stock and instructions.

It's essential to shout about your fundraising and awareness raising plans. Spread the word to maximise your impact! You could email your contacts, share on social media, and spread the word via local news stations or posters in your community.

How do I set up a fundraising page on Ovacome's website?
The type of fundraising page you create on Ovacome's website will depend on the type of fundraiser you're planning.

Creating a page on Ovacome's website ensures that you can personalise your page with personal pictures, keep a blog to update your supporters and keep a record of your fundraising milestones.

How do I set up a Facebook fundraiser?
To set up a Facebook fundraiser from your phone, go to Menu in your Facebook app, and look up Fundraisers. Then, select Raise Money, select Create Fundraiser, and search for Ovacome. Once you’ve selected Ovacome, you can create a title for your fundraiser and edit the description – perhaps it’s your Birthday coming up, and you’d like your friends to donate in place of gifts, or perhaps you’d like to explain Ovacome’s services and vital work to your friends to encourage them to donate? You can also set a fundraising goal and end date. Once you’ve raised your funds for Ovacome, be sure to get in touch so that we can send you a certificate to celebrate your brilliant fundraising!
Can my workplace match my fundraising?
It is always a brilliant idea to approach your workplace to see if they will match the funds raised, or match a percentage of your total funds. If you need any information from Ovacome to make this happen, please do get in touch. We can provide a letter of authorisation to show to your employers and send Ovacome's bank details over.
Match funding tends to take a couple of months to process, but it'd be helpful if you could let us know once your workplace has processed the donation so that we can look out for it at our end!
Once we have received the matched funds, we'd be delighted to add this to your fundraising total.

Can I have a letter from Ovacome to authorise my fundraising?
Yes. Please get in touch at fundraising@ovacome.org.uk to request a letter of authorisation from Ovacome, expressing our official permission for you to raise funds and collect donations in aid of our work. The letter will include the contact details of a member of our fundraising team should any of your supporters have any questions and want to get in touch.
How can I pay my funds raised to Ovacome?
You can send your funds to Ovacome in three ways.
1. Donate your funds via bank transfer. Please get in touch at fundraising@ovacome.org.uk to request our bank details.
2. Donate your funds via Ovacome's website:

Go to settings and select signature, and select edit signature. You can select an existing one or create a new one. Then, insert the image (by clicking on the icon that looks like a mountain). You'll be able to upload from your computer, drive or online. You can then edit the image to get the correct size. Once the image is inserted into your email signature, double click on the image, and select open hyperlink. Then, insert your fundraising page URL. This means that those you email can be directed straight to your fundraising page when they click on the image!
